With over 40 years of experience in the financial industry, I have honed my skills as a financial advisor and certified financial planner, dedicated to helping and guiding my clients toward their financial goals. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of authoring articles for various news and business publications. I also enjoy sharing my knowledge through public speaking, having conducted financial seminars for over 400 corporations and associations. Since 1993, I've hosted “The Financial Forum with DeWayne McAnally” on the radio, as well as contributed financial columns to several newspapers and magazines. My passion for education extends to academia as well; I have served as a guest lecturer at the University of Oklahoma, University of Central Oklahoma, and Southern Nazarene University.

Before my journey in financial planning began, I worked as a consultant for a business consulting firm in Oklahoma City and spent five years in finance management with Sears, Roebuck, and Company. My commitment to public service was recognized when Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating appointed me as his representative to the board of trustees of the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System in 1995. In 1996, I joined the investment committee for the state’s retirement system. Subsequent governors have continued to honor me with these appointments, and I served eight years as Chairman of both boards. In 2020, Governor Kevin Stitt appointed me as a commissioner serving on the Oklahoma State Pension Commission.

I am also active in state politics, having served as both Vice-Chairman and Chairman of The Oklahoma County Republican Party, and I also served as Vice Chairman of The Oklahoma State Republican Party. I am now Chairman of Oklahoma’s fifth congression district for the Republican Party.

I am a proud graduate of Southern Nazarene University; I earned my Certified Financial Planner designation in 1982 and became a Registered Investment Advisor in 1984. My commitment to professional growth has led me to attend courses at esteemed institutions such as The Wharton School of Pennsylvania University and New York University.

In 2000, my wife JoAnn and I founded The McAnally Foundation, dedicated to supporting underprivileged children and the elderly in Oklahoma. One of my proudest achievements has been being recognized as Oklahoma City’s Big Brothers and Big Sisters couple of the year in 2008 alongside JoAnn. I remain dedicated to making a positive impact in my community and the lives of those I serve.

I am a passionate advocate for prudent investing and a firm believer in the transformative power of finance. I joined the G. DeWayne McAnally, LLC team in 2008, where I currently serve as Chief Investment Officer. In this role, I am responsible for guiding investment strategies that help our team in making pivotal decisions that shape our organization's financial future.

I’m a dedicated husband and father of two amazing sons who keep me on my toes. As a family we love spending time outdoors. Over the years, I have developed a deep understanding of the intricacies of billing, compliance, technology, and account maintenance, which has allowed me to streamline processes and enhance the overall efficiency of our operations. My role as operations manager often puts me at the forefront of client interactions, where I take great satisfaction in addressing their questions and concerns. Balancing my professional life with my personal life is something I hold dear. I am a devoted wife and mother to two adventurous boys, who keep my life filled with excitement and laughter. Family is incredibly important to me; I cherish the moments we spend together, whether we are hiking through nature, kayaking on local rivers and lakes, or tending to our garden and our chickens.
